Well…. it’s not quite spring, YET. The cold, Canadian winter might have you holed up and hibernating. Enjoy it! And while I’ve got your attention- here is something to think about…
Let’s talk about “Spring Cleaning”. As much as I’d love to give you tips on how to keep your closet organized, I’m probably the last person on planet earth who should be allowed to give you pretty readers advice on this subject (You can ask my wonderful my cleaning lady. A woman who displays cleaning superpowers I’ll never quite understand. )
I’m speaking metaphorically, of course. I read an interesting article the other day about wellness. The key point I got from this article was this quote:
“Every decision we make in life brings us one step closer… or one step further away from wellness.”
When you keep this awareness top of mind on a daily basis, I promise you will start to become more conscious, self aware and ultimately happier.
From the relationships we nurture, to the foods we eat, the jobs we work, the hobbies we practice, the way we spend our free time-this thought can be applied to almost every single aspect of our lives.
Why are you reading this? Probably because you care enough about your wellness that you are willing to take the steps to improving your life through cleansing and enriching your mind, body and spirit for the better.
So what JUNK have you been holding on to? Are you nurturing toxic relationships? Self-destructive past times? When you could be letting go of this behavior and rejuvenating your mind and body with exercise and meditation? Without judgment towards yourself, start to simply be aware of what path you’ve been choosing lately.
Ask yourself this question daily and feel gratitude for every decision that brings you closer towards a path of wellness…
