Meet Our Team

Angela McNally

Angela McNally

Owner of eatingpretty.com, Angela McNally, is a Nutritionist and Entrepreneur. She has a passion for life, love and creating opportunities.

As the founder of Eating Pretty Nutrition and its online women's wellness community, Angela says the part she loves best about her career is making new girlfriends. Making a difference in the lives of other women and encouraging them to be their best self is what inspires her.

Angela also admits that she realizes www.eatingpretty.com and the diets she has designed for her clients are just a small piece of the puzzle in living a whole well balanced life. Believing true happiness starts with the right mindset she started a women’s motivational seminar series called 'Living Pretty.'

Living Pretty? To live all areas of life in a beautiful way.
Health, Wealth, Love, Passion, Positivity, Happiness.

Look for more information on living pretty seminars here.

Angela is very candid about all her life's experiences and loves to motivate based on her own personal lessons. She writes a popular blog and never holds back on the juicy stuff!

Philanthropy and coming together with like-minded people to make a difference are daily tasks for Angela. She co-chairs the committee for Movember Canada.

Ultimately the most important thing to Angela is making a difference in this world.

When faced with hardships in her teen years and early twenties Angela dealt with her challenges like many women in her generation - the way the role models in the media at the time did. 'The Paris Hiltons and Lindsay Lohan's ' of the world glorified the 'Sex and the City' lifestyle with martinis, validation through expensive brands and toxic lifestyles.

Angela says she is determined to show her peers, and the next generation of young women, there is another way.

Health, Happiness and Pretty!

Jordie McTavish

Jodie McTavish

Jordie McTavish's life revolves around food...seriously.

After completing the Human Resource Management program at Sheridan College with High Honours, she left the suburbs of Burlington for downtown Toronto in search of a way to combine her love of fine cuisine and business. She wound up being part of a high end restaurant opening... as a hostess, cocktail waitress and eventually the assistant event coordinator. Her hard work soon paid off and she was singled out by the owner, one of Canada’s premier chefs, Mark McEwan to take on the role of his Executive Assistant and aid in the building of a culinary empire. This lead her to be a part of McEwan's hit show The Heat as well as Top Chef Canada on the The Food Network.

Eating Pretty was a bit of a challenge for Jordie at first, who spends her days surrounded by gourmet food, but she has found that with support and motivation from the Eating Pretty team, finding a good balance and making the right choices, makes her feel better about herself on the inside, which shines through on the outside.

Jordie is an at home workout expert, always trying the latest dvd's and websites and reporting back to the team - if you have seen it for sale on late night tv, chances are, she owns it! This is why Jordie is the author of “Pretty Picks”, which are monthly columns suggesting great videos, restaurants, books and more - anything that supports the new Living Pretty lifestyle, she is our go-to test girl!

Jordie has been a Eating and Living Pretty ambassador since 2009. Her humour, candid honestly, compulsive organization and dedication are just a few reasons why we love her. Make sure to follow ‘Pretty Picks’ monthly – we guarantee you will love her too!

Kim James

Kim James

Kim James is an internationally Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about the power of prevention.

She meets new people everyday in her line of work, thanks to travels and how she decided to approach her career. She is constantly surprised at how much simple advice can really change the course of someone’s overall health & wellbeing.

Every time Kim noticed a posts, pictures, or an amazing project from the team at Eating Pretty Nutrition, it was a push for her to pursue the idea of sharing and getting what she had to say (and do) out there. Kim is honored now to be sharing her knowledge as a contributor for Living Pretty.

She wants everyone to have the simple advice that can make a world of difference for smiles everywhere.

Kim is also gluten & lactose and egg free, due to intolerances that left her uncomfortable for years. She does loads of research & recipe experiments to make these avoidances easy, - and will be sure to share this, too!

When it comes to fitness, she started out as a figure skater (National Synchronized Skating champ back in the day!) She then worked her way into long distance running in England where she completed a half marathon of trail running along the coast of Cornwall, England as well as numerous 10km runs. Her main fitness choice now is Crossfit, where she has learned a lot about mind over matter, and feels stronger and better than ever. She attributes her new ‘hottest’ self to the confidence the tough workouts give her.

Kim is a sucker for a simply good food, good wine and good company – “What more could a girl ask for?!”

Krista Butler

Krista Butler

Krista always had the instinct that the food you put in your body was directly related to health. After 10 years of reading the latest info in the health/food world (and not knowing what to believe!), she decided to take matters into her own hands and enroll to become a Nutritional Therapist Practitioner. She will be certified in June 2011.

Krista finally feels that she has found the “truth” about our bodies and food. She is so excited to share with the Living Pretty community ways to ensure that the body’s systems are performing optimally, which will lead to exceptional health with great side effects (weight loss, strong immune system, lots of energy, etc…!).

Her favorite quote is “Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon!” and her blog is kristabutlerhealth.wordpress.com

Dana McLeod

Dana McLeod

Dana McLeod is a Special Events student at George Brown College and a full time intern at Eating Pretty Nutrition.

Being raised in a small rural town has given Dana a down-to-earth attitude and an extremely friendly personality. Growing up on a farm she spent lots of time riding her horses with her best friend and feeding the cows with her grandma. When she hit high school she became obsessed with clothes and fashion and still is today. Dana dreams to be one of the event planners for Paris Fashion Week or the World Fashion Awards.

Dana has been dancing since the age of 7 and loves it more than anything. She is currently a Preliminary Champion Irish dancer. Competing gives her the ultimate high and she is currently working towards qualifying for the World Championships in Ireland next spring. Dana has a second love, her boyfriend Chris. When they first met Chris didn’t speak English well because he was from Quebec. She helps him with his English and now he’s helping her learn French. Dana has always wanted to learn a second language because one of her ultimate goals is to travel the world.

Eating Pretty is important to Dana because she has a lactose and gluten intolerance, so to avoid being sick she has to be very conscious of what she puts in her body. This is hard for her because she has such a weakness for hamburgers and chocolate chip muffins! She says “in the end, what's really important is being healthy and feeling your best” and that being an Eating Pretty intern and ambassador has taught her to do just that.

Kate Bilton

Kate Bilton

Kate Bilton first learned about Living Pretty from her best friend, Eating Pretty intern Dana. From there, she signed up for the 2011 Rock the Runway for Movember show, fell in love with the ‘Pretty Lifestyle’, and the rest is history.

Kate loves food and realised shortly after her journey with Eating Pretty that her steady diet of fast food was a one way ticket to being unhealthy and kicking her metabolism into neutral. She has since started a hilarious blog poking fun at old habits dying hard and talking about her transformation into learning about good health and how to properly fuel her body. fatgirlwannabe.blogspot.com

Kate is currently studying Business Administration- Human Resources at Sheridan College. However, her true love belongs to horseback riding. She has been competing for the past twelve years and feels that being in tune with such an elegant creature really brightens the soul in ways other forms of exercise cannot.

When she's not at the barn Kate is a social butterfly. She love’s her girlfriends, going to the theatre, baking, cooking, eating, reading, learning, snowboarding, hanging out with her dog, and setting goals. Kate is very excited to join the Eating Pretty Sisterhood.
